St. Lawrence Market’s wildly popular Evening at the Market was held Nov. 10 and, as usual, was quickly sold out of all 1,500 passes.
It’s an evening when merchants at the world-renowned St. Lawrence Market strut their most extravagant best in an orgy of high-end tastings that, at $75 a pass, is a great bargain.
That’s especially true when you consider that champagne, wines and beer flowed freely (and free) as attendees wandered the two levels of the Market sampling the offerings.
In between bites many who were interviewed praised the evening as the best gastronomical occasion of the year and expressed a desire that it occur more often.
