On Oct. 16 flag wavers, drummers and running enthusiasts gathered along Front Street in the St. Lawrence neighbourhood to cheer on weary runners on the last leg of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.
Runners passed through Cabbagetown, Corktown and Harbourfront. The grueling endeavour stretched from High Park in the west to the Beaches in the East and up to Bloor St.
It welcomed more than 25,000 people from over 60 countries and raised $2.7 million for at least 182 charities.
