The Rotary Club of Toronto will celebrate the season with its annual Seniors’ Christmas Party
(Held at the Royal York Hotel – since 1963)
Over 250 disadvantaged seniors and shut-ins who are often isolated and may not have a Christmas meal are invited to a Christmas Luncheon hosted by The Rotary Club of Toronto to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
The Seniors’ Christmas Party takes place on Friday December 9, 2016 from 11:00am – 2pm at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in the Concert Hall. This tradition has continued since 1963 and includes invitees from:
- Second Mile Club
- Kensington Gardens
- Fudger House
- Yonge Street Mission
- Salvation Army
- Little Trinity/The Church of Resurrection
- Sunshine Centres for Seniors
“The Seniors’ Christmas Party is one of the highlights of the year for many of these seniors. We make sure it is a very special afternoon for them” says the Rotary Club of Toronto.
“Each Senior is made to feel especially welcome at the event and our volunteers and donors from across the city make sure that the invited senior guests leave with a special gift from Santa”
