The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance identifying and locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is reported that:
– on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at approximately 4:20 a.m., a man physically and sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in the Gerrard Street West and Yonge Street area
– subsequent to the assault, the man forcibly removed the woman’s belongings
– the man was armed with a firearm
– he fled the area on Gerrard Street West
He is described as in his early 20s, approximately 6’0″, with an olive complexion, skinny build, wearing a purple tracksuit, black jacket with hood, dark baseball hat with light-coloured brim and black shoes.
If he is located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately. Police believe him to be violent and dangerous. He may be armed with a firearm.
