Community consultation: King & Toronto St. tower

City planning staff are holding a community consultation meeting to discuss plans for a 33-storey tower at King and Toronto streets on Dec. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Knightsbridge Room of the King Edward Hotel at 37 King St. E.34-50-king-st-e

The zoning by-law amendment proposal for 34-50 King St. E. and 2 Toronto St. (file no.: 16 159562 STE 28 OZ) seeks to permit a 33-storey mixed-use building consisting of 219 residential units, 10,006 square metres of office space, 255 square metres of retail space and 78 vehicular parking spaces in a 5-level underground garage. The Quebec Bank Building at the northwest corner of King St. E. and Toronto St. is proposed to be conserved and integrated as part of the proposal.
