Step back into the past with this 50’s diner. It is an all day breakfast spot offering yummy platters of brunch/lunch dishes. It is friendly. One can see large families, couples, singles and any other mixture of happy clients enjoying this good comfort food.

Egg Dishes are prominent on the menu. The All Day Breakfast features 2 eggs, ham, sausage, tomatoes, waffles and toast. ($14.50) Scrambled Eggs can be ordered with chicken, peppers, onion and cheddar cheese, ($10.00) or with smoked salmon and onions. There is a variety of Omelettes offered daily. Spinach, mushroom and cheddar is a favorite. ($10.50). Egg whites only can be prepared for an extra $1.75. A Specialty Egg selection is the Madeleine with spinach and smoked salmon. The ever popular French Toast or Waffles is always on the menu. ($7.50)

I was impressed with the lengthy list of Grilled Cheese sandwiches. A green salad or cole slaw is part of the deal. Grilled cheese with tomatoes is my favorite. ($9.00) Grilled cheese and bacon is also featured. Tuna Sandwiches are prepared on multigrain bread. ($8.50) Grilled Steak Sandwich, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and sautéed onions is served on foccacia bead. ($14.00)

My friend and I opted for the Nicoise Salad. ($12.50) There was a large portion of Tuna. Small potatoes, black olives and lovely fresh greens made for a delightful lunch. A choice of vinaigrette was available. A Nicoise Salad can also be ordered with Grilled Salmon. ($14.00)

Chicken fingers and fries always appeals to children ($9.50. Fish and Chips with cole slaw are a standard. ($8.00) This is one of the few places I will order a Vegetarian Burger. I love the moist tasty flavors. ($8.00) Other Burgers are also available.

This is an extensive menu. It really felt as if I had entered a time machine. I expected to see an old Chevrolet parked outside. The service is very prompt and friendly. We were delighted with our lunch and happily headed out to see our film.
