Davis Simor of Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam’s office reports that the Ward 27 team met with the INHALE Project, an initiative run by the Toronto Environment Alliance, to hear about the project’s plans for the Downtown core communities.
Per Simor:
The INHALE Project is an innovative community air monitoring initiative that started in South Etobicoke and is now being launched in Toronto’s downtown core to collect important information about the air we breathe.
Using easy-to-use air monitoring equipment, residents can become Community Air Trackers who walk, bike, stroll and roll along their streets, gathering mappable data as they go. With information on street level air quality, TEA’s INHALE Project hopes to spark community conversations that can lead to clean air solutions.
