Personal injury crash eastbound Gardiner west of DVP

On Friday, November 4, 2016, at 2:27 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on the eastbound Gardiner Expressway, west of the Don Valley Parkway.

It is reported that:

− a man, 21, was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle with a passenger, eastbound on the Gardiner Expressway
− the motorcycle struck the centre concrete barrier and the 20-year-old male passenger was ejected from the motorcycle
− the motorcycle continued eastbound on the Gardiner Expressway, where the rider lost control of the motorcycle

The 21-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and the 20-year-old man suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to hospital.
