Pedestrian struck by streetcar at Dundas West, Bloor

 

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 7:07 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Dundas Street West and Bloor Street West.

It is reported that:

− a man, 55, was attempting to cross Dundas Street West, south of Bloor Street West
− a man, 59, was operating a streetcar, northbound on Dundas Street West, approaching Bloor Street West
– the man was struck by the streetcar as he attempted to cross the road

The 55-year-old man received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
