Comstock for column

Michael Comstock, a friend and columnist in The Bulletin passed away in his home Sept. 22, 2012 after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. He will be missed by his beloved wife Sharon, their two sons, and the entire Downtown community he served so generously.

Mike was in the company of his sister Donna Rhodes, sons Jason Macdonald and Lucas Comstock, when the end mercifully came.

His insightful columns in The Bulletin were a fount of superb ideas for city- and community-building.

He shared his ideas without thought of reward and he shared his energy in helping Downtown residents and businesses.

He is missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Patrick Hodgson Family Research Fund at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated
