The Esplanade from Parliament St. to Jarvis St. is forlorn and this is highlighted by dazzle of The Christmas Market in the Distillery District and lighting and decorations in the surrounding area.
The popularity of The Christmas Market brings thousands of people walking along The Esplanade coming to and from the Market. We believe The Esplanade would benefit from joining the spirit.
We are requesting donations to fund the holiday decorations along The Esplanade from Parliament Street to Jarvis Street. Attached is a picture of the decoration for the 20 poles with basket holders that will be installed today. The St. Lawrence Market BIA and the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association were contacted for funding and we were advised they do not have the budget for these decorations.
Each decoration is $79.00 (includes HST). An acknowledgement of your sponsorship, if you wish, can be included with the decoration. Additionally, any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated.
