Eco-Design for Healthy Interiors
Monday, November 13, 2006 at 6:00 PMOn a day-to-day basis, we spend a lot of time at home – eating meals, relaxing, spending time with friends and family. More and more Canadian homeowners today are searching for ways to create healthy indoor environments to protect their families, especially their children.
How do the cleaning products, furniture, carpets, paints, etc. that we choose impact our health and that of our children? How is this correlated to rising asthma rates? What are our choices for creating a greener, healthier home environment?
Join Mara Del Bianco, a LEED Accredited Professional and member of the National LEED Real Estate Committee of the Canadian Green Building Council, and Barbara Nyke, Certified Interior Decorator, Eco-Design Consultant & Real-estate Stager, as they present some stylish eco-friendly design materials that are environmentally friendly and can also improve indoor air quality.
The presentation will be held at C’est What, 67 Front St. E. at Church. Doors open at 6pm, Speaker at 7pm $5 includes admission & service charge.
