Downtown Seen May 2016: Patchwork Village Exhibit

Patchwork Village is an outdoor photo and text exhibit curated by Isorine Marc and held at David Crombie Park.

This year’s event celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Esplanade neighbourhood’s site-plan approval and features the stories of 40 Esplanadians. Each story is a component of an ensemble – a vital piece of a patchwork that composes the intangible cultural heritage of the Esplanadian community – a patchwork that connects people and tells the story of their collective memory.

The unveiling was held Sunday, May 1st and Laura Dittmann was there.
