BCCA hears about ‘urban taxidermy’ at AGM

nsismithThe Bay Cloverhill Community Association (BCCA) will hold its annual general meeting on Nov. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium of the Metro Central YMCA at 20 Grosvenor St.

The keynote speaker will be Catherine Nasmith, president  of the Toronto Architectural Conservancy and the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario.

Nasmith is an architect who specializes in heritage rehabilitation, planning, advocacy and research. She is also the publisher of e-journal Built Heritage News and writes for many other publications.

The BCCA invites area residents to join the association and community leaders for an informative and interactive evening of round-table discussions led by Nasmith and including Councillor Wong-Tam and 52 Division neighbourhood police officers.

There will be refreshments and door prizes.
