Artfest Toronto at the Distillery celebrates Labour Day weekend August 30-Sept 2 with a four day exhibition featuring 75 fine artists from across Ontario and Quebec.
A ‘must see’ for Torontonians and visitors searching for new and innovative art, photography, sculpture or glass pieces for their condos or homes. This FREE outdoor event showcases 75 of Canada’s top artists. Lose your self in the creativity of the artists, stroll the charming cobblestone lanes of the Distillery District, take home a piece of Canadian art and sample the gourmet delights of artisanal food products.
The producer of Artfest Toronto is Lory MacDonald, a veteran creator and producer with 25 years of experience spotting trends and finding new artistic talent.

.Some highlights of the show include:

  • Painter Diana Rosa is influenced by her South American roots in her use of rich colours, musical images and cubist style art. Her love of people and romance are evident as well in her composition and design.

  • Photographer David Lifson is showing his outstanding images printed on a variety of material from traditional photographic paper to eye-popping acrylic. His work is known for rich colours and deep contrast. Perfect for a splash of colour in a minimalist décor.

  • Richard Sturgeon of Metal Infusion is exhibiting metal sculpture. From playful kinetic hanging pieces to complex outdoor garden feature pieces. Richard’s work has lovely curves and twists that have a contained focused look, yet interact with its surroundings.

  • Combining photographic technologies with furniture, Kristensen–Smith creates outstanding art conversation pieces. Manhole-cover chairs, flooring, wall pieces and more.

  • Eric Ezza, jewellery designer/cabinet maker carves delightful extraordinary pendants from exotic woods then combines them with unusual materials and objects.

  • Enriquez Lopez is performing all weekend with his inspiring Cuban style guitar music. Additionally, the Resolutionaries will perform African style acoustic guitar with wooden marimbas on Gristmill Lane for three 45 minute sets starting at 12:30pm daily.

Stroll the enchanting cobble stoned 19th century Distillery District and enjoy paintings, photography, sculpture, wood turnings, pottery, glass, jewellery, designer clothing, gourmet foods, live music and much more. FREE admission.
