Wilkins Ave. auto break-in suspect spotted

After a rash of overnight auto break-ins in Corktown, residents now have a description of a possible perpetrator.

On Jan. 13, an area resident was walking his dog in the vicinity of the Wilkins Ave. parking lot when he spotted a man attempting to break into parked cars. The thief was confronted and then rode away on a small bicycle.

The police were called and the incident was reported.

The description in circulation is: Male Caucasian, English speaking with a French accent, about 5’5 or 5’6, black hair, black jacket, black pants, grey hooded sweatshirt, scruffy, mid-20s.
