TEDxToronto is hosting its annual conference on September 26th, 2013, for more than 900 delegates at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. For those wishing to be immersed in the event, but not attending the conference, TEDxToronto has just announced a Satellite Event will take place at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI Annex) in the Bloor and Bathurst area of downtown Toronto.
“The TEDxToronto Satellite Viewing Party is a great option for Torontonians who want to share in the day with like-minded people,” said Dumitru Onceanu, Director of Community for TEDxToronto. “The conference will be livestreamed to the viewing party location and is 100 per cent free. As well, we’re thrilled to be able to host this event at CSI – a beautiful space and a brilliant Toronto organization doing great work within the community.”
This year’s conference will feature 12 speakers:
— Mark Henick, mental health advocate, youngest of CAMH
— Gabrielle Scrimshaw, named the 2013 First Nations Youth Achiever
— Deborah S. Berlin-Romalis, clinical social worker at Sick Kids Hospital
