SLNA hosts Canada hotdog & cake fest

The St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association invites all Downtown residents to join us for our annual Canada Day Celebration in Market Lane Park, just west of the North Market at Front and Jarvis.

Festivities begin at 12 noon with greetings from our elected officials:  Pam McConnell, Councillor, Ward 28; Glen Murray, MPP, Toronto Centre; and Bob Rae, MP, Toronto Centre. There will be music, free hot dogs, children’s activities, a short play re-enacting a key event in our city’s (and country’s) history – “The Capitulation of York” and, of course, cake!
