Significant pest control deficiency at Church St. butcher

A DineSafe inspection of Cumbrae’s at 481 Church St. on June 22 identified three issues that, while allowing the butcher shop to receive a conditional pass from the agency, need to be dealt with.

The inspector found a significant level of failure by the operator to “provide adequate pest control.” The inspector also noted minor maintenance issues, namely a failure to maintain rooms and a failure to properly wash surfaces.

The records of previous inspections (June and December 2016) were satisfactory.
