On Monday night at the ACC, two kids from Regent Park will be competing in the The Samsung Eternity Dancing with the Stars Tour – Kids Ballroom Challenge!

Both Peldon Tenzin and Klodian Lumaj have only been dancing together for 7 months in the Joy of Dance Scholarship program – Junior Dancing Stars. They will be competing against 18 other kids who have been training for years and many hours a day. Against all odds, these two kids are going to just dance for joy.

Tenzin and Lumaj are dancing because they love it. They spend two hours a week dancing at Joy of Dance but they dance many more in their hearts and minds.

“I am able to forget all the things I have to do for school and home. I can just dance and feel good about myself,” said Tenzin.  “Dancing at the ACC is going to be exciting. We are going to be able to show all kids that they can dance too. You don’t have to be a competitive dancer at a competitive school to learn how great it is to just dance,” adds Lumaj.

For one night, the real stars dancing on Monday will be Tenzin and Lumaj who truly understand what dancing is all about.
