Party with the police

The 52 Division Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) volunteers present “Invest In Our Youth: Our Future” fourth annual scholarship event on Oct. 26 at Montana at 145 John St. The event includes a reception at 6 p.m., followed by a fashion show at 7 p.m. with the “Fearless 52 Models” and youth breakdancers. A silent auction, door prize, raffles, disc jockey, and entertainment are also planned. Proceeds go to fund scholarships for students at Contact School. Tickets are $60. The 51 Division CPLC hosts Building Bridges, a scholarship fundraising cocktail reception and gala, on Nov. 19. It is sponsored by the George Brown College Centre for Arts & Design,  from 7 to 10 p.m. at St. Lawrence Hall.
