Just east of Toronto north and south of the 401, tucked away in the Northumberland Hills and down in Prince Edward County, numerous interesting, artisanal cheese shops,  studios, wineries, organic and health and wellness retreats abound.Heartfit-eggs

Among them you will find a non-profit farm holiday program tucked away on an 80-acre  bicentennial farm.

It’s special because it addresses a gap in service for intellectually disabled adults 18+. Using their animals, and the restorative power of nature they provide a safe  fun farm holiday that promotes active living, independence building, skills reinforcement and anxiety reduction.Heartfit-guests

Maximum  8  guests per week throughout the summer, are led seamlessly into new learning and experiences by a professional staff.
