Panel to discuss fixing Ontario Municipal Board

On Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 Environmental Defence will host an invitation-only panel discussion: Can the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) be fixed? featuring experts in urban design, planning and development.

Many observers say it’s time to fix OMB. An expert panel will exchange ideas about how to best repair the OMB to enable full citizen participation, protect the environment from poorly planned development, and support stronger, healthier communities.fix omb

WHO: The expert panellists available for interviews are: Toronto Chief Planner Jennifer Keesmaat, former Chief Planner Paul Bedford, developer Rodney Wilts, and environmental lawyer David Donnelly. The panel moderator is noted urban designer Ken Greenburg.
