The Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre at Bathurst Quay will hold a community festival June 18 to celebrate its 25 years offering programs and services to the waterfront neighbourhood.
There’ll be free kids activities such as games, crafts and bouncy castles, fitness and dance classes, a barbecue (with family-friendly prices), and a Seniors Tea.
Also featured will be an adult Colouring and Wine, the Shadowland Stiltwalkers, a Samba band and other music, a showcase of the centre’s programs, a Starbucks refreshment tent and a car wash to raise funds for summer camp subsidies.
The WNC just recently changed its name from Harbourfront Community Centre to better reflect its location on Toronto’s rapidly growing waterfront. It’s at Queens Quay and Bathurst.
The Community Fun Fest will run 11:30-2:30 p.m.
