Centre honours Hyman for work

Rabbi Tina Grimberg of the Darchei Noam Congregation, Valerie Hyman and Lisa Cherandoff attended Fred Victor Centre’s annual fundraising gala on Oct. 23 at the Arcadian Court. Hyman was the recipient of the first annual Mary Sheffield Award for her distinguished and spirited advocacy for homeless and impoverished people in Toronto.  Fred Victor Centre provides shelter, housing, programs and services to 1,000 homeless and low-income people a day in Toronto.
