Casino open houses bet on public input Casino consultation results not posted until March 20

In addition to the Jan. 11 meeting of the Toronto and East York community council casino subcommittee, a series of five sessions have been scheduled city-wide as part of a public  consultation on the possible establishment of a casino in Toronto.

The consultation period ends Jan. 25.

The sessions have been set up as open house meetings and  held on Jan. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Rotunda at city hall (100 Queen St. W.), Jan. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at North York Memorial Hall, Jan. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Etobicoke Olympium Gymnasium, Jan. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Scarborough Civic Centre rotunda, and Jan. 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge St.
