Cabbagetown Family Day Festival – Monday Feb. 16, 2015

The inaugural free admission Cabbagetown Family Day Festival produced by The Cabbagetown BIA will be bringing families together in celebration of the long holiday weekend.  The festival takes place Monday, February 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Parliament Street, between Gerrard Street & Wellesley Street.

The event features an ice sculptures stroll throughout the Cabbage town BIA district, horse and carriage rides, an ice skating showcase, carnival activities, buskers, pancakes, music and more! Visit Cabbagetown and experience the charm, charisma and local culture this area of Toronto has to offer.  Guaranteed fun for the whole family!

Highlights

Glisse on Ice brings the art of skating with a synthetic ice show, taking place throughout Parliament Street between Gerrard Street and Wellesley Street, performing four 20-minute shows. http://glisseonice.com/en/synthetic-ice-surfaces/

Toronto All Star Big Band revives the spirit style and sounds of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s – that golden age of the big bands. Swing your way into the tent located on the northeast corner of Carlton Street and Parliament Street. http://www.torontoallstarbigband.com

Pancakes free for all and presented by Enbridge, located on Parliament Street at Spruce Street.
