Berczy Park group urges participation in St. James Park survey

While Friends of Berczy Park is naturally focused on the revitalization of Berczy, we are sharing a timely update with you regarding planned renovations in nearby St James Park, which is relevant to local families. With St James’ design plans nearly complete, the City of Toronto is urgently asking for family input on a new playground planned for that park.

Since our new Berczy Park will have limited play amenities (mainly a green play lawn and a child-friendly art installation), due to the park’s small size, we encourage you to share your opinions on St James’ large, planned play area. Please take five minutes to complete the St James Park Playground survey at the link below by Tuesday June 7 at midnight.

The survey can be found at: https://fluidsurveys.com/s/sjppgmobile/
Or view the project website: https://stjamesparkmasterplan.wordpress.com

Thanks for your time,

Friends of Berczy Park Working Committee

PS: As you may have noticed, Berczy construction is proceeding quickly, and this week the planting of new oak and elm trees began. Please check our blog or follow us on twitter at @FriendsofBerczy for updates on the construction, estimated for completion by late summer 2016.
