Say goodbye to our beloved St. James Park gazebo. The park’s new “master plan” team has decided to tear down the picturesque landmark—home of Music in St. James Park—and put up a sterile “pavilion” in its stead. This latest rampage to fix something that isn’t broken comes on the news that Berkzy park won’t open this summer. A children’s playground is needed for St. James, but the rest of the plan is an expensive designer’s folly. Someone needs to fight back.
