Richmond bike lanes installed

The city began installing physically-separated bicycle lanes called cycle tracks on Richmond and Adelaide Streets in mid-July similar to the ones on Wellesley, east of Jarvis. The track on east-bound Adelaide will run on the street’s south side between Bathurst and Simcoe streets. There’ll be “no stopping” signs adjacent to the cycle track. The track on west-bound Richmond will be on the north side between Bathurst and York. Installation of that will start when the Adelaide track is completed.—D.H.
