Pest control violation at Church St. pub rated ‘significant’

Toronto Public Health inspected the Hair of the Dog restaurant at 425 Church St. (north of Carlton) on May 24 and found a significant pest control problem.

In a report published to the city’s DineSafe web site, the restaurant has been handed a notice to comply and it will be re-assessed to ensure that the operator is providing adequate pest control.

The report also makes note of minor infractions related to the proper mainenance and sanitation of non-foor contact surfaces and equipment.

The restaurant’s DineSafe history back to 2015 is clear of other significant infractions.
