City Politics
City, TTC seek public input on waterfront EA modification

The TTC and City of Toronto are filing an "environmental assessment modification report" in order to extend streetcar service from Exhibition Place to Dufferin St. The City of Toronto holds public consultation as one way to engage residents in the life of their city.
 
The Toronto Transit Commission and the City of Toronto have completed an environmental assessment (EA) modification study of the approved “waterfront west light rail transit environmental assessment” report.
 
The waterfront west streetcars project will see the extension of the existing streetcar service westward from the Exhibition Place loop to Dufferin St. The preferred route is pictured in the key plan.
 
Residents wishing to submit comments regarding the project may submit them by Oct. 17, 2008 to:
