November 19th was the night for Building Bridges, a scholarship fundraising cocktail reception and gala presented by the 51 division Community Police Liaison Committee at the historic St. Lawrence Hall, and Seen reporter Duncan McAllister was there to take it all in.

The elegant evening featured haute couture presented by the School of Design and Fashion at George Brown College, a silent auction, a dance performance, succulent hors d'oeuvres prepared by chef Jamie Kennedy and a live art wall. A fine evening was enjoyed by all, and members of the 51 division police force and residents of the local community had the opportunity to mingle and socialize.
